buenas tardes doctor mi pregunta es yo tomo kaletra y viread pero en mi pais solo se encuentra kaletra soy de honduras y estoy indetectable podria tomar solo caletra sin corer riesgos grasias y queDios lo bendiga por sus consejos

Buenas tardes,

No, no es aconsejable. De hecho no es aconsejable tomar solamente Kaletra y Viread, un régimen de solamente dos antirretrovirales. Ensayos clínicos recientes han demostrado que Kaletra tomado como monoterapia es inferior a los regimenes antirretrovirales estándares (por lo menos tres fármacos anti-VIH activos) con respecto a la supresión de replicación del VIH (carga viral). Si tomas sólo Kaletra, sí, corres riesgos de rebote viral y del desarrollo de resistencia a Kaletra. Debes tomar Kaletra junto con por lo menos dos otros antirretrovirales activos contra tu virus. Habla con tu médico especialista en VIH de tus opciones. Afortunadamente, hoy en día hay muchas.
