What are your thoughts on how to answer this question on a Globe Life Insurance Application? I have been HIV+ since 1998. I have never had "AIDS" (no t-cells ever < 200 and no opportunistic infections). I have also not had any HIC antibody tests in the last 3 years. I believe I could honestly answer this question "no," but would hate to do so, then after I am gone, my beneficiary cannot collect on the benefit.
"In the past 3 years, has the Proposed Insured been diagnosed as having or treated by a member of the medical profession for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), AIDS Related Complex (ARC), or tested postive for antibodies to the HIV virus?"

Response from Ms. Franzoi
I think your concern is legitimate. I would be hesitant to answer no for the very reasons you state.
